Director Park Chan-wook’s (Oldboy) latest starring Song Kang-ho (The Host, Memories of Murder, general badass).

Synopsis:
Beloved and devoted priest from a small town volunteers for a medical experiment which fails and turns him into a vampire. Physical and psychological changes lead to his affair with a wife of his childhood friend who is repressed and tired of her mundane life. The one-time priest falls deeper in despair and depravity. As things turns for worse, he struggles to maintain what’s left of his humanity.

Probably won’t make it stateside until 2010 (outside of festival runs).  On the other hand, there’s some Hollywood cash tangled up in this, so who knows?

Finally, there’s a video or two circulating I opted not to post as they’re far too spoilerish (but I won’t keep you from hunting ’em down yourselves).

Park sold his soul to the devil. In turn he was granted the powerd to make awesome movies. And summon dragon fire.
