Movie voice dies

The dude who did some movie voices kicked the bucket. What does this mean for movie trailers that still actually use voice over? I guess they’ll be forced to make decent trailers focused on action and characters instead of cheesy voice over.

    You’re right about the V.O. being a crutch. Some of the best trailers in recent memory (ie: Pineapple Express, TDK) sure as shit didn’t utilize ’em.

    Still, it’s sad to see LaFontaine go. He certainly left a mark on the film industry; it was part of the sometimes magical moviegoing experience. And if nothing else, impressionists had great fodder for their stand-up routines.
